I have some regrets in life. I regret not speaking up for myself as a kid. I regret not finishing my degree earlier. I regret not buying tickets to the Madonna concert when she passed through Texas in Houston. I regret inappropriate jokes sometime.... ehhh well not really. I start this blog because I have had a nice big whiff of freedom recently. I am newly single and months aways from 30. I realize that there are a lot of things I want to do. We all have the choice to live anywhere we want to and are held back by some pretty insignificant things in life. I'm ready to graduate from Dallas and call Chicago home. I have just over 7 weeks before I plan to leave and I do not want to regret passing up this fleeting thought and staying here. It's time to get out and live my life. So with the fear of regretting this leap of faith, I march on boldly! I have told my employer that I'm relocating and have already sent money for a deposit and first month's rent on an apartment in Chicago. There's no turning back now. I created this blog to journal my exit from Dallas and my adventures to come in the windy city. Let's see where this takes me...
